ReplyDeleteFactory code is 9527 ! Use it to set your time and GPS and DVD region.. !! Important ! Factory code is 9527 ! It took me a long time to find this.. so I will post it. Many are frustrated with the instructions manual, it is horrible.. but not really needed that badly.. What is hard to figure out judging by the many posts I 've seen about it is the location of the radio must be set so you can stop having it reset the time and GPS locations everytime you shut it off..Go into the settings, then the factory set, it will ask for the above code.. there...
ReplyDeletePleasantly Surprised I just got this deck installed in my 2009 GMC Sierra and there are only a couple of complaints. First, it didn't fit right. The deck is slightly wider and taller than a standard double-din aftermarket deck. This was fixed fairly easily by trimming the dash kit. There may even be a dash kit that is made for this deck.
