TND Tablet not ready for Prime Time Bought the unit two weeks ago, slick app running on android. Over priced crippled tablet, with sub par specs. Just the app running seems to work, however RM released this unit without many features working out of the box. It will not connect to the dock software, and as of March 4/4/2015 was told after 30 minutes on hold, and a supervisor asked...fuel and mileage as well as poi info cannot be downloaded, but will be added, "in 7-10 business days....really? ReplyDeleteVERY FAR FROM PRIME TIME WELL AFTER TALKING TO RAND MCNALLY I'M GOING TO RETURN THE TABLET I HAD A TND 730 LOVED IT TILL IT GOT COOKED IN THE WINDSHIELD PURCHASED THE TABLET IT WORKS OKAYPROBLEM 1 IN THE 730 YOU HAD A BACKUP & RESTORE FOR FUEL, MILEAGE THE TABLET DON'T HAVE THE OPTION YOU HAVE TO COPY PASTE FROM TABLET TO COMPUTER THEN IF YOU RESTORE THE TABLET YOU HAVE TOP DO THE REVERSE (REAL HASSLE)PROB. 2 THE TABLET IS SLOW LOOKED @ PROSSER IT USING THE SAME 1 AS MY SAMSUNG TABLET DID 4 YEARS...
