The Uniden PRO505XL 40 Channel CB Radio is perfect for those long days on the road. It features an instant channel 9 function where you can quickly set the radio to the emergency/channel 9. Buy it...been doing CBs for 35 years...this little one is a gooder. Seriously great little CB...with some bigger CB functions.LIKES:- Small/compact. ReplyDeleteA very good radio with many features in a small form factor This is a very good radio. When you factor in the price and the size, it's really great. The price does seem to fluctuate some, but most of the time it is only $10 more than the 510 but offers a public address function and more importantly adjustable receive (RF) gain. This is very important in my opinion. AM communication is very badly hampered by electrical noise. CB's can be very bad about picking up lots of noise from the vehicle, especially now with more electronics going into vehicles...
