Great CB Radio I had reviewed this CB's details, along with several others. I'd heard stories of knobs falling off, radios flaking out after 2 months, etc. For that reason, I didn't want to buy a cheap piece of junk, so when I first clicked on this CB, it was somewhere at $120.00, (I forget the exact amount). ReplyDeleteGreat radio I love this radio. I am using this with a trucker 2000 antenna. Gets out really far and really clear! There's about 20 trucks in our fleet that drive locally. This radio puts out and receives farther than 99 percent of the other ones! The only bad about this radio is that the blue tooth on it really sucks! It's very hard to understand the callers voice and all of my callers complain that there's a very annoying echo of themselves heard on their end. I'd recommend this radio for the radio itself...
ReplyDeleteThe radio works well even with a portable/magnetic antenna. I took the time to adjust the antenna length and have briefly talked to truck drivers, mostly for transmission checks. There's not a lot of talking going on in the Los Angeles area, but some.
