This works I had never used a Radar detector prior to this purchase. It serves two purposes for me as i drive 30 miles everyday to office. While speeding during peak hour is a mere wishful thinking, it is kind of constant reminder to slow you down and increase alertness. Thoughout my drive through city and highway it promptly detects K band and alerts. No i am not sure how timely these alerts if there is radar gun in place to detect speed and if it gives driver an opportunity to reduce speed. The voice...
